To promote self awareness and understanding for individuals and groups in need. 

MISSION

The purpose of Consciousness in Action (CIA) is to provide conscious educational opportunities for diverse and inclusive segments of society.  CIA provides avenues for personal growth and development through education, awareness and the creation of supportive community.  With increased self understanding and awareness, individuals develop the ability to make empowered choices which help them realize their full potential in all areas of life – work, play, relationships and self care.

PURPOSE

The foundation is formed for the purpose of promoting and supporting education and study dedicated to consciousness raising, including the process of helping the individual achieve greater awareness regarding one’s own personality, needs, and limitations, or of one’s role, attitude, and needs in connection with personal, social, and political problems in modern life.

How CIA will accomplish this:

CIA supports personal growth educational classes and workshops focused upon understanding: 1) personality types and variations in emotional and social intelligence (i.e. including but not limited to the Enneagram) 2) Cultural and Individual differences in values and priorities (i.e. including but not limited to Spiral Dynamics).  Also included are creative experiential workshops; Coping skills/stress reduction tools and techniques ( i.e. meditation); and educational venues appropriate for the specific needs of diverse populations.  CIA will provide scholarships for education, personal growth and awareness opportunities; Gatherings or activities focused on building “Conscious/Aware” Communities; as well as physical resources for individuals and partner organizations.
